About Cleave Construction

Christopher Cleave, the operating owner, grew up learning general contracting and several specialized trades through his father, an architect and civil engineer. As such, build precision, environmental impact, a fine eye for detail, and our roles in community are all second nature to Chris.

From these early experiences, Chris developed an eye for energy conservation while working within clients’ budget. Proper installation and weatherproofing are cornerstones to controlling energy efficiency in the implementation stage of building. Chris is also passionate about product choice, sustainable materials, recycling, upcycling, and impact of building choices on environment. Together Cleave Construction LLC provides a well-balanced, holistic approach to building and remodeling projects.

With experience in various industries providing management, logistics and operations support, Chris is a seasoned small business owner who deeply cares about work quality, exceeding clients’ expectations, taking care of the environment, and doing the right thing.
